RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO)


  • Maintain our design system and continue developing new styles, components, and guidelines

o Documentation of component usage and naming conventions

  • Create high-fidelity design mockups and prototypes to share with stakeholders before development
  • Participate in creative brainstorming with teammates and ministries
  • Assist with design interviews with stakeholders and end-users
  • Assist with organizing our product design process, lead workshops to identify and outline requirements

o Prepare workshop notes and action items

  • Assist in collaboration with design and video teams within the organization to create interactive components for designs

o Coordinate assets and feedback between teams

  • Implement UX/UI (using our tools and these languages: CSS, HTML, JavaScript)
  • Make use of analytics to understand engagement
  • Optimize web products based on results of engagement and end-user results
  • Participating in QA testing
  • Able to support occasional weekend work remotely

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS


WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS


  • Must have bachelor degree (or certification) in Web Design or 0-2 years experience in related field.

o You must have a UX/UI design portfolio

  • Solid understanding of responsive design, wireframing and information architecture
  • Must have time management, organization skills, and attention to detail
  • Must also have strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Must possess perseverance and good listening skills
  • Competency using a web application (Notion.so or similar) for productivity and note-taking


COMPUTER / SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Versed in the use of the following tools: Notion.so, Figma, including the use of components, auto layout, and variables
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and macOS Environments
  • Knowledge of image authoring tools
