A leading collaborative design platform is seeking an experienced backend-focused engineer to enhance and evolve an integration-driven application. The project is centered on building and maintaining robust integrations using Ruby on Rails and TypeScript, with a strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and scaling connections with third-party systems.
The role will contribute to improving reliability, extensibility, and overall integration architecture across the platform.

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Ruby on Rails to support integrations.

- Improve existing integration architecture with a focus on maintainability, performance, and observability.

Requirements
[Required Experience]
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Proven background building and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams.
- Experience integrating identity services, especially using OAuth.
[Nice to have]
- Hands-on experience with Google APIs (Calendar, Chat, etc.) and app integrations.
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
