Full job description
The Web Developer II is the primary owner and architect of all web properties across multiple companies. This includes full responsibility for the design, development, optimization, structure, and ongoing performance of each brand’s website. This position design visually compelling user experiences, build and maintain the full suite of site pages, develop modular systems for scalability, and ensure every site is fast, stable, accessible, secure, and aligned with brand and product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Ecosystems
- Maintain and evolve the full websites for brands from end to end.
- Ensure each site reflects its brand identity, product strategy, and user experience goals.
- Own the architecture, structure, navigation, and content framework for each digital property.
- Manage domains, DNS, redirects, and technical infrastructure in partnership with IT.
- Develop and manage roadmaps for future web improvements and redesigns.
Web Design & UX/UI
- Design full-page layouts, product pages, landing pages, and templates grounded inUXbest practices.
- Build and evolve reusable design systems and component libraries that scale across brands
- Lead the visual direction of each site while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
- Improve usability and customer journey flows to support conversions and engagement.
Front-End Development
- Develop, implement, and maintain responsive, accessible, high-performance web pages.
- Ensure cross-browser/cross-device compatibility and WCAG compliance.
- Optimize sites for speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile-first performance.
- Build modular, scalable components that streamline future development.
Analytics, Tracking & Integrations
- Implement and maintain HubSpot forms, analytics, tracking scripts, schema markup, and SEO infrastructure.
- Monitor site health, performance metrics, and funnel behavior to drive iterative improvements.
- Diagnose and fix issues proactively across all web properties.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the authoritative digital expert advising on feasibility, best practices, and web strategy.
- Support product launches, campaigns, and new initiatives with high-quality digital execution.
- Maintain documentation and SOPs for scalable multi-brand web management.
- All other duties assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Strong ability to design and build modern, responsive websites.
- Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience designing full-page layouts, landing pages, and reusable components.
- Good understanding of UX/UI best practices, accessibility, and conversion-focused design.
- Ability to maintain visual consistency across brands while adapting to different audiences.
- Experience optimizing sites for performance, mobile responsiveness, and usability.
- Familiarity with analytics, tracking tools, SEO fundamentals, and form integrations.
- Comfortable managing multiple websites and priorities at the same time.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying and solving issues.
- Able to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of experience in web design and front-end development or related roles.
- Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress,Webflow, HubSpot CMS, or similar).
- Portfolio demonstrating full website builds, page layouts, and front-end execution.
- Working knowledge of site performance, accessibility standards, and cross-browser support.
- Familiarity with domain management, DNS, redirects, and basic web infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to document processes and support scalable, multi-site web management.
Physical Requirements:
