Position Details:
companny is seeking a talented Videographer & Editor to join our team and bring our brand and mission to life through compelling visual storytelling. In this role, you will create high-quality video content that showcases our groundbreaking technology, major milestones, and the transformative impact of our work. You will collaborate across teams to produce engaging narratives for product showcases, mission highlights, and social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with company vision and brand identity.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit dynamic video content, including product showcases, mission highlights, and social storytelling.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and marketing teams to translate complex technical concepts into visually engaging narratives.
- Manage preproduction planning, including shot lists, storyboards, and logistical frameworks for smooth execution.
- Edit and assemble footage into polished deliverables, applying advanced techniques such as motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
- Maintain an organized library of footage, assets, and templates to streamline production workflows.
- Travel to onsite locations (approximately 2025% of the year) to capture interviews, broll, and missioncritical footage.
- Ensure all video content aligns with comopany brand style guide and complies with data handling protocols, including ITAR requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- 35 years of professional experience in video production and editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve (or other related tools) for editing, motion graphics, and color grading.
- Handson expertise with professional camera equipment, including Sony FX6 or similar systems, and onset best practices.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and platformspecific content for social media (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Ability to travel for onlocation shoots and adapt to fastpaced production schedules.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to comply with ITAR requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D animation or CGI software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D).
- Background in aerospace, defense, or technologyfocused content creation.
- Passion for space exploration and advanced engineering.
ITAR Requirements:
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require minimal walking, standing for extended amounts of time, climbing, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat.
Security Clearance:
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
