Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Supervisor to join our healthcare team. This leadership position requires a compassionate individual with a strong clinical background and excellent management skills. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient care, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing home setting and a passion for supporting both patients and staff. This position offers a sign-on bonus of $5000 to qualified candidate.

Duties

  • Supervise nursing staff to ensure effective patient care delivery.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Manage daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure proper utilization of resources and adherence to clinical guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilization review processes.
  • Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of New York.
  • Proven experience in critical care, long-term care, or sub-acute care settings.
  • Familiarity with PCC EMR system
  • Experience in supervising nursing staff or managing teams is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
