Work you’ll do/Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases/scripts for data platform components (pipelines, models, database changes, and governance controls)
  • Execute automated test suites and perform targeted regression testing for releases impacting In Stock and BOH
  • Build and manage test coverage for key data quality dimensions (accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency)
  • Use Selenium where applicable to automate validation of user-facing workflows/tools that interact with data assets
  • Produce clear test execution reports (pass/fail trends, defect summaries, root-cause notes, retest evidence) for stakeholders
  • Partner with data engineers/DBAs/architects to define acceptance criteria, test data needs, and defect triage/resolution workflows
  • Continuously improve automation stability (reducing flaky tests), maintainability, and execution speed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of proven QA/QE experience
  • Experience with test case execution and test case/script development in a structured QA (quality assurance) process
  • Strong background in testing automation, including designing reusable, maintainable automated suites
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing (including troubleshooting and stabilization techniques)
  • Ability to document results and communicate quality risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity working with data-centric teams (data engineering, database administration, data governance) is a plus
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance (mentoring, review leadership, and solution direction) within a delivery team
