Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and direction to the manufacturing services operation to maximize machine efficiencies while minimizing costs and contributing to achieving the company’s overall business goals.Requirements:

Technical Skill Requirements:

  • BS Degree in industrial engineering or a technical field or relevant equivalent experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • 6 + Years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive, metal stamping
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Outstanding analytical ability to understand complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Customer Service Orientation
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills to positively motivate employees toward achieving goals
  • Working knowledge of Kaizen principles

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Maintenance department
  • Problem solving any manufacturing maintenance and employee relations issues as they arise
  • Ensure department is following safety and housekeeping procedures and meeting expectations
  • Ensure department is meeting organizational and departmental objectives
  • Institute methods of tracking production downtime as it relates to Manufacturing Services and establishing targets through continued improvement activities
  • Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Services budget
  • Review countermeasure actions to determine improvement or problem resolution
  • Report on Manufacturing Services performance
  • Prepare reports as requested from management
  • Attend meetings as necessary
