Exercise – Business & Operations Manage
Duties:
· Establish production plans to build product as needed
· Inspect incoming materials and purchased parts to verify correctness to what was ordered.
· Issue purchase orders to suppliers as needed
· Field inquiries from customers related to product questions and requests for quotes
· Follow established procedures and documentation
· Assist in assembly of equipment conforming to product drawings and bill of materials
· Follow established procedures and documentation as required
· Participate in approving final product before being shipped to customer
· Verify vendor invoices are accurate for payment
· Learn basics of exercise therapy and customer terminology
Position Requirements:
· Very detailed oriented individual
· Hands on basic mechanical skills (ex. comfortable working with hand tools)
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
· Disciplined with high level of self-motivation
· Capable of self-direction
· Eager to learn the field of Kinesiology/Exercise Science
· Comfortable talking to customers as experience grows with the product line
· Willing and able to put forth the effort to be successful in this role
· Able to read basic drawings and follow Bill of Materials
· Desire to build and grow a business
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
· Basic computer office experience
· Prior experience in any of these areas would be helpful: Physical Therapy, Kinesiology/Exercise Science, Customer Service, Manufacturing.
Organizational Relationships: Initially reports to the semi-retired current holder of this position. Ultimately this position reports to the President of the company.
