Job Overview
Responsible for analyzing financial and operational data to support informed business decisions. This role develops and maintains Power BI dashboards, performs data extraction and analysis, and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate organizational performance and business initiatives. The Enterprise Data Analyst manipulates and models complex healthcare datasets, produces reports and executive-ready presentations, and provides actionable insights to leadership. Responsibilities also include supporting clinical audits, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc analytical requests. This position applies analytical techniques such as statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling to identify trends, improve business operations, and support strategic planning. The analyst collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reporting solutions, and ensure accurate data capture and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the organization’s primary Power BI expert, designing, developing, and maintaining advanced dashboards, reports, and data models to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Develop interactive Power BI reports that visualize key business metrics, operational performance, and financial results for executive leadership.
  • Work with the Director of Finance, CEO, COO, and operational leaders to identify analytical opportunities that enhance organizational value.
  • Extract, structure, and analyze large and complex healthcare datasets from multiple systems.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business initiatives and operational performance.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Develop recurring and ad-hoc presentation materials for senior leadership, partners, and board-level discussions.
  • Clearly communicate complex data stories to non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data sources, reports, and dashboards.
  • Document data definitions, logic, and assumptions used in analysis.
  • Stay current on best practices in healthcare analytics, Power BI, and data
  • Create regular and ad-hoc reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Track profitability of new and existing procedures and service lines.
  • Support financial reporting, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, financial audits, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Produce executive-ready presentations and analytical summaries.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as graphs, dashboards, and infographics to communicate insights clearly.
  • Analyze company functions, workflows, and operational processes to improve the effectiveness of business applications and financial performance.
  • Develop forecasts, financial models, proformas, and analytical projections.
  • Provide daily operational analytics, including volume reporting to Site Administrators.
  • Assist in financial performance presentations and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with operations leadership in developing financial policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
  • Assist in developing strategic business plans using financial data and forecasting models.
  • Provide backup support for the Director of Finance as needed, including payroll oversight, cash management, and financial reporting functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MS Analytics, or related) preferred.
  • PL-300 certification required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, preferably in healthcare or radiology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Strong experience with Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical metrics preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level Power BI skills required, including dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, and advanced visualization techniques.
  • Strong experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
  • Data visualization and reporting expertise.
  • Experience with statistical or analytical software preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Physical Demands: The flow of work and character of duties involve remaining in a seated stationary position and performing keyboard operations constantly; communicating with internal and external stakeholders constantly; and moving/traversing about the office or remaining in an upright stationary position on an occasional basis. Additionally, the person in this role may seldom climb stairs or position oneself as necessary to access resources pertinent to one’s desk/computer/files. Visual attention is necessary because frequent near acuity for computer usage is required and far acuity is occasionally needed to assist with following Power Point presentations. Intermittently, the ability to distinguish color is warranted. The person in this role needs to be able to detect smells for safety-related purposes on occasion. The position also requires an individual to be able to transport a laptop computer, equipment and files weighing approximately 10-15 lbs.

Working Conditions: Moderate noise associated with a typical work environment (computers, printers, and light traffic) is characteristic for this job.
