Full job description

We’re looking for a skilled back-end, front-end, or full stack developer who is passionate about maintaining high standards and best practices throughout all our web and app projects. This role involves coding, architecture, website development, and app development and deployment. Working hand-in-hand with our design and content team, you’ll help our client achieve fast, responsive websites.

responsibilities

  • Write clean, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
  • Create mobile apps and websites by using standard HTML/CSS practices based on design concepts and mockups
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
  • Create and maintain software documentation in collaboration with project managers
  • Maintain, expand, and scale websites and apps
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Cooperate with the design team to match UX/UI design intent

requirements

  • Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Familiar with WordPress
  • Familiar with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
  • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
  • Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools
  • Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of deadlines
  • Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field is preferred
