Job Summary
The Associate Director of Integrated Search serves as a senior strategic leader responsible for overseeing the holistic search practice across both paid (SEM) and organic (SEO) channels. This role drives the integration of performance media and organic search strategies to deliver full-funnel impact, aligning search efforts with broader business objectives and evolving search landscapes, including AI-powered discovery.
This position leads cross-functional teams, shapes search strategy across enterprise clients, and ensures best-in-class execution across SEM, SEO, GEO, CRO, and emerging search innovations. The Associate Director is a key voice in advancing Moroch’s search capabilities, fostering innovation, and strengthening platform and client partnerships. This is an exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-disciplinary team of SEM and SEO managers and specialists across enterprise accounts
- Foster collaboration between paid and organic teams to ensure unified search strategies and shared learnings
- Provide ongoing coaching to translate strategy into execution with measurable business outcomes
- Ensure team readiness through training, industry updates, and evolving best practices across SEO, SEM, and AI-driven search
- Promote knowledge-sharing through internal POVs, case studies, and thought leadership
- Develop and oversee full-funnel search strategies that unify SEO, SEM, CRO, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Align search strategy with creative, media, and business objectives to drive performance across channels
- Guide keyword strategy, audience targeting, content optimization, and media investment decisions holistically
- Oversee technical SEO, on-page/off-page optimization, and paid search activation to ensure maximum visibility and efficiency
- Integrate testing frameworks across paid and organic channels, including A/B and multivariate testing for performance improvement
- Drive adoption of AI-forward strategies, including GEO and optimization for AI-powered search experiences
- Serve as the senior strategic lead and trusted advisor for integrated search across key enterprise clients
- Lead client communication, presenting cohesive search strategies, performance insights, and growth opportunities
- Translate complex data and cross-channel insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Ensure alignment between client goals and integrated search execution
- Define and evolve the vision for integrated search across the agency, combining SEO and SEM best practices
- Stay ahead of industry trends, including AI search, automation, and changing search engine behaviors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key platform partners (Google, Microsoft, SEO tools/vendors)
- Identify new opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and growth across search channels
- Contribute to new business efforts, including pitches and capability development
- Oversee execution across multiple accounts, ensuring quality, timeliness, and performance outcomes
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks across paid and organic search
- Analyze performance data across platforms (Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics, etc.) to drive optimization
- Ensure seamless collaboration with media, analytics, content, and development teams

Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience across search marketing, including both SEO and SEM leadership
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SEO platforms, and analytics tools
- Proven track record of improving organic search rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, paid media strategy, and performance marketing analytics
- Experience leading teams and managing enterprise-level client relationships
Preferences
- Experience with Search Ads 360, Google Analytics, and enterprise SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)
- Experience with working with Enterprise SEO clients, agency experience
- Familiarity with CRO methodologies and testing platforms
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Drupal)
- Experience with local SEO and mobile optimization best practices
- This position is preferred to be local in the Dallas, TX area, but we are open to considering remote employees. Local and remote employees will be expected to travel for internal or client meetings up to 15% of the time.
