Mainframe Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Engineer with strong expertise in CA TPX Session Management and CA SOLVE for z/OS to support and maintain enterprise mainframe environments. The role focuses on session management, automation, troubleshooting, and production support within a z/OS ecosystem.

Required Skills (Mandatory)

  • CA TPX Session Management
  • CA SOLVE for z/OS
  • IBM z/OS
  • VTAM / SNA
  • TSO / ISPF
  • JCL
  • RACF or equivalent mainframe security tools
  • SMP/E (basic knowledge)
  • Exposure to CICS / IMS / DB2
  • CA NetMaster / CA SYSVIEW

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and administer CA TPX and CA SOLVE environments
  • Troubleshoot session, connectivity, automation, and performance-related issues
  • Provide Level 2 / Level 3 production support
  • Participate in system upgrades, PTF implementation, and disaster recovery activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and availability

  • Authorized to work in the USA or Canada
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support as required
