Job Summary:
The Pharmacist Tech in Panorama City, California will be a crucial member of the healthcare team, responsible for supporting the pharmacists in the safe and efficient dispensing of medication to patients. Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medication to patients accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and label medication orders
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking of medication
  • Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure proper medication coverage
  • Enter and maintain patient information and medication records in electronic systems
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to dispensing medication
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the pharmacy and equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their caregivers
  • Other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred
  • Current Pharmacy Technician License in the state of California required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical records systems
