As a Production Supervisor in our Processing facility. You’ll lead a team of 30+ employees in a fast-paced pork processing plant, managing fresh pork production lines that process over 400,000 pounds of products daily.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:
- Manage and coordinate daily line activities and staffing.
- Drive efficiency, maximize product yields, and improve workflow.
- Ensure food safety, product quality, and workplace safety.
- Develop and coach employees for success.

Responsibilities
- Achieve daily throughput targets while meeting quality and yield standards.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows.
- Monitor staffing and schedules to ensure production goals are met.
- Analyze processes, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Supervise, train, and coach production employees.
- Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma + 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Experience with AS400, Kronos, ADP eTime, or Carlisle.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Work Environment
- Frequent movement in plant environment.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
- Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and variable temperatures.
- Some office work required.
- Weekend/after-hours availability as business needs dictate.
