As a Production Supervisor in our Processing facility. You’ll lead a team of 30+ employees in a fast-paced pork processing plant, managing fresh pork production lines that process over 400,000 pounds of products daily.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:

  • Manage and coordinate daily line activities and staffing.
  • Drive efficiency, maximize product yields, and improve workflow.
  • Ensure food safety, product quality, and workplace safety.
  • Develop and coach employees for success.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve daily throughput targets while meeting quality and yield standards.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows.
  • Monitor staffing and schedules to ensure production goals are met.
  • Analyze processes, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Supervise, train, and coach production employees.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma + 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience in food manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with AS400, Kronos, ADP eTime, or Carlisle.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).

Work Environment

  • Frequent movement in plant environment.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
  • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and variable temperatures.
  • Some office work required.
  • Weekend/after-hours availability as business needs dictate.
