The ICF Shift Supervisor (SS) is responsible for directing and controlling the staff working in the 4 campus homes on the assigned shift. The SS makes rounds of the homes in which their staff work during their shift and addresses issues related to the care of the men and women living in those homes. The SS also provides just-in-time training for the staff as needed.
Schedule: Sunday-Thurs 10pm-6am
Participate in an established on-call system.
- Implementation of the Mission, Values, Code of Ethics, and Code of Conduct
- Ensure services provided in the homes meet the ICF/ID regulatory requirements
- Oversees the operations of the ICF/ID homes for their shift
- Provide for Retention and Recruitment of competent, productive, satisfied, and empowered staff
- Provides on-site supervision for the assigned ICF homes on the assigned shift, as well as the program through on-call responsibilities.
- Work with the ICF Leadership Team to provide quality programs and services.
- Provide on-going Performance and Improvement
- Provide for Financial Solvency of assigned homes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Preferred: Same as required.
Experience:
Required: One year of previous experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities, or health care setting, and/or previous experience in human resource management.
Preferred: Previous experience listed and includes 3-5 years equivalency in a similar facility.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to supervise staff and have good interpersonal, communication and decision-making skills. Knowledge of needs and services of persons with developmental, intellectual, and physical disabilities, ability to manage multiple living sites within the scope of the assigned shift.
Necessary Special Requirements:
1. Must have a valid driver’s license, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under New Hope’s auto insurance. Must be able to provide own transportation for limited agency business.
2. Must be able to complete company’s current curriculum for working with individuals with challenging behaviors, including the physical portions.
