Role: Java Full stack Engineer (Low Latency Trading)

Title: Assistant Vice President/Vice President

Location: , Alpharetta, GA (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)

Mode of Work: 3 days per week onsite required

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Apache Camel, and Order Management Systems, ideally within low‑latency trading environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across backend and frontend layers, building scalable, high‑performance systems that support real‑time trading workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications supporting trading and order management workflows.
  • Build and optimize low‑latency, high‑throughput backend services using Java.
  • Develop and integrate Camel routes for messaging, orchestration, and system connectivity.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (trading, product, architecture) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Enhance and maintain order lifecycle components, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and ensure system stability.
  • Contribute to code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Java (Core + Advanced).
  • Expertise in Apache Camel for integration and routing.
  • Solid understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and order lifecycle flows.
  • Experience working on low‑latency trading platforms or real‑time financial systems.
  • Proficiency in full‑stack development (backend‑heavy), with exposure to frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ, etc.).

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Exposure to Angular or other modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience in capital markets, equities, fixed income, or derivatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
