Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Guidewire Claims Center Developer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core claims management solutions within the Guidewire platform. Your expertise will help streamline claims processing, enhance user experience, and ensure seamless integration with various enterprise systems. Duties
- Develop, customize, and optimize Guidewire Claims Center applications using a comprehensive understanding of the platform’s architecture and capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and implement enhancements aligned with business goals.
- Integrate Guidewire Claims Center with external systems through RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and other web development techniques.
- Write clean, efficient code utilizing programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify issues and deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, codebase, and technical specifications for future reference and compliance purposes.
Skills
- Proven experience with Guidewire Claims Center development and configuration.
- Strong proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, and Bootstrap for UI/UX enhancements.
- Expertise in backend development using ASP.NET <PERSON>, WCF services, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and PL/SQL for data storage and retrieval.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Experience with version control tools like GitHub and SVN; familiarity with TFS for source code management.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment processes.
- Ability to work with UML diagrams for system modeling; experience with application frameworks like MVC and Entity Framework.
- Competence in multithreading concepts for high-performance applications; debugging skills essential for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Familiarity with Linux environments as well as Windows-based development tools like Visual Studio and Eclipse.
- Additional skills include Web services integration (RESTful API), application development best practices, UI/UX design principles, XML/XSLT processing, shell scripting (Bash), JSON handling, OOP principles in C#/.NET/Ruby/Ruby on Rails/Python/JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js or React Express.
