About the role
We’re looking for a SEO Specialist to join the company team. This is a hybrid SEO + Content role perfect for someone who loves writing, researching, and optimizing content to rank. You’ll manage our blog content calendar, write SEO-focused articles, optimize web pages for performance, and support PR projects that elevate our brand across external publications and media outlets. You’ll work closely with marketing strategists, graphic designers, and leadership to ensure our content ranks, generates leads, and strengthens our online presence.
What you’ll do
Content Creation & Management
- Plan, write, and manage SEO-driven blog articles and web content.
- Build content briefs based on keyword research and search intent.
- Own the editorial calendar—ensuring consistent, high-quality publishing.
- Take initiative to lead content execution, coordinating with writers, designers, and freelancers to produce SEO-optimized, high-performing content.
On-Page & Technical SEO Execution
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, and content structure.
- Update and improve existing pages to increase organic visibility and conversion.
- Monitor indexing, page performance, and ranking improvements in Search Console.
PR & Outreach Support
- Assist with crafting PR content such as press releases, thought leadership articles, partner spotlights, and brand statements.
- Collaborate on outreach strategies to secure backlinks and external publication opportunities.
- Support reputation management by producing SEO-aligned content that improves brand sentiment.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Create & track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and engagement metrics.
- Build simple dashboards and reports that show SEO and content performance.
Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page optimization, rankings, etc.).
- Experience managing content in WordPress.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/SEMrush, etc.).
