Full job description

We are seeking a skilled CI Developer to develop and maintain web-based applications using PHP and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CodeIgniter (v2/v3), along with strong knowledge of front-end scripting and a commitment to writing clean, efficient code.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in CI & PHP

Location: Salt Lake sec V (WFO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications using PHP and CodeIgniter (v2/v3)
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Work with front-end technologies such as Ajax and jQuery to build dynamic user interfaces
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development standards
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
  • Provide ongoing technical support, including bug fixes and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP and web application development
  • Hands-on experience with CodeIgniter (v2 or v3)
  • Good understanding of Ajax and jQuery
  • Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred / Added Advantage:

  • Experience with WordPress development
