Full job description

Who We Are:

We’re a performance-driven digital marketing agency that operates by a simple standard: if it doesn’t produce results, it doesn’t belong here. We work with clients in Home Services and Legal/Medical industries, where first impressions are everything and every website has to work as hard as the people behind it. We’re direct, we’re competitive, and we’re relentless about getting better.

These aren’t just things we say. They’re how we operate:

Results Over Everything
Every design decision ties back to performance. If it doesn’t serve the client’s goals, it doesn’t belong on the page.

Radical Transparency
No fluff, no excuses with clients or with each other. Say what needs to be said, show the work, own the outcomes.

Master Your Craft
We hire experts and expect expertise. Never stop learning, never stop growing, never settle for good enough.

Compete To Win
Push each other to be better and fight relentlessly to deliver for clients. Complacency has no home here.

Innovate Forward
The web never stands still, and neither do you. Stay ahead so clients never fall behind.

The Role:

We’re hiring a WordPress Web Designer to take full ownership of website design, development, and execution across a growing portfolio of clients. This means building the strategy, designing the pages, customizing themes and plugins, and delivering sites that actually perform. You show your work clearly and you stand behind it.

We work primarily in WordPress with Generate Press and the block editor, but sometimes that means adapting to whatever platform or workflow a client brings to the table. The expectation isn’t that you know every tool, it’s that you’re adaptable enough to get the job done regardless of what’s in front of you.

If you’re someone who obsesses over the details, takes pride in clean and functional design, and holds yourself to a high standard, this is where you belong.

What You’ll Own:

  • Website design and build execution across a portfolio of client accounts in WordPress
  • Theme and plugin customization that meets each client’s specific requirements and brand standards
  • Page builds using Generate Press & the Block Editor with layouts that are responsive, fast, and built to convert
  • Website performance, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance so nothing breaks and nothing slips
  • Collaboration with the broader team to make sure design and backend work together seamlessly
  • Staying current on web design trends, tools, and best practices so clients always get work that’s relevant and competitive

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong portfolio that speaks for itself. Show us real work, real clients, real results
  • Proven hands-on experience with WordPress, including theme and plugin customization
  • Proficiency with Gutenberg, Divi, & Elementor as we have previous sites built in these editors. You know these tools deeply, not just surface level
  • Solid command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. You can go under the hood when you need to
  • An eye for design that balances aesthetics with functionality and user experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects without losing attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who can translate design decisions into language clients understand and trust
  • Background in Home Services and/or Legal/Medical is a strong plus

Tools You’ll Use:

  • WordPress
  • Generate Press & The Block Editor. With the Ability to Work With Other Popular Page Builders.
  • HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript
  • Monday.com

Why This Role:

  • Real ownership: not just execution, but creative direction and outcomes
  • You’ll work with clients who have real expectations and appreciate quality work
  • You’ll be surrounded by people who hold themselves to a high standard and push you to do the same
  • Hybrid flexibility. We work hard and trust you to manage your time
  • Competitive compensation based on your experience and what you bring

How to Apply:

Send us your resume and a short note about a site you’re proud of. Tell us what the client needed, what you built, and what the outcome was.

Portfolio and case studies can be sent to careers@vie.media.

We’re moving fast on this. If it sounds like you, don’t wait.
