TECHNICAL SERVICES ENGINEER
Steel Building Systems | Cold-Formed Steel | Remote
Eastern U.S. (Northeast Preferred)
$120,000 – $135,000 Base Salary + 401(k) + Medical, Dental, Vision + PTO

Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel building systems seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support contractors, engineers, and project teams across Eastern U.S.

This remote role provides technical support for cold-formed steel, light gauge framing, structural support systems, and steel building products used in commercial and industrial construction.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for contractors and project teams
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project details
  • Provide guidance on product applications and installation best practices
  • Troubleshoot technical and field-related challenges
  • Support code compliance and construction requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams
  • Minimal travel required

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • Exposure to steel structures, steel building systems, cold-formed steel, light gauge framing, structural support systems, or related construction products
  • Ability to review drawings and construction details
  • Understanding of construction practices and building codes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working directly with contractors and project teams
