PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Graphic Designer will create visual communications to effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including, but not limited to advertisements, websites, brochures, fact sheets, datasheets, logos, or other promotional products. Researches and develops content for publication of products. Prepares presentations and/or marketing copy geared towards employees, customers, and the public as well as assists with the design & maintenance of corporate website and social media platforms.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with your creative team members to produce effective content.
  • Assist with making design choices (i.e. Font, Colors, Layout) for all content KYOCERA AVX will use.
  • Design brochures, logos, signs, posters, catalogs, datasheets, advertisements, and other communication materials.
  • Meet with internal employees to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communication to look like.
  • Create / incorporate designs, pictures, videos to reflect the desired theme/tone of the communications.
  • Produce drafts for review by internal employees & make revisions based on feedback received.
  • Review final productions for errors and ensure the final material reflects the specifications received.
  • Work with publications to coordinate advertising spend, maximize company exposure, analyze/report traffic statistics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Graphic Design or related field. Bachleors Degree Preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel.Ability to work in fast-paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Desire to go the extra mile, which can demand overtime in addition to an average work week.
  • Ability to stay on task, great organizational skills and self-manage without much supervision.
  • MUST be able to provide portfolio or website that properly highlights skill level in digital design.
