As a Data Testing Engineer/ Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing data testing and quality assurance efforts within our organization. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data by leading a team of data testers and coordinating with various stakeholders to improve data-related processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Years Of Experience: 7 to 10 years

Skills Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in experience in data testing, quality assurance, or data management
  • Familiarity with data testing and quality assurance tools, such as data profiling tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing, and database testing tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to query, manipulate, and validate data.
  • Basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting languages for automating data testing.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and practices Develop data testing strategies, plans, and methodologies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Execute data validation tests, including data profiling, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks, to identify anomalies and data quality issues.
  • Implement and maintain data testing automation frameworks and scripts to streamline and automate repetitive testing processes.
  • Create test cases and test scripts to validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various data sources, databases, and data pipelines.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement
  • Detect, document, and report data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies to the relevant teams for resolution.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to understand data structures, sources, and transformations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data testing processes, test cases, and test results.
  • Generate and provide reports on data quality metrics and findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to data governance policies and practices, contributing to the development and enforcement of data management standards.
  • Continuously improve data testing processes, tools, and methodologies to adapt to evolving data requirements and technologies.
  • Good to have Healthcare domain experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, management, and stakeholders.
